Our Team

Dentists

Dr. Solt Halász

Oral Surgery, Implantology, Dental Prosthetics

Even before I turned 7, while I was wandering around the dentist’s office, I decided I wanted to be a dentist, and I’ve achieved that goal ever since. In my work, I do everything in my power to achieve the best possible results, so that my work meets all standards—both in terms of durability and aesthetics. I enjoy spending my free time exploring various hobbies—a passion that may have begun even before my desire to become a dentist—including electronic gadgets, cars, and motorcycles, which I’m always happy to read about, watch videos about, or talk about.

Dr. Zsolt Halász

implantology, dental prosthetics

My passion and my hobby are my work and the clinic.

Fortunately for me—and to my great joy—two of my grown children are already part of the clinic’s team. So I hope I won’t lose my drive as time goes on. I never want to retire!

I love doing this meticulous profession—which requires solid theoretical knowledge, manual dexterity, spatial awareness, and creativity—with great dedication and enthusiasm. I truly believe that I am doing exactly what I was “born to do.”.

In addition to the skills listed above, as the clinic’s director, I must also handle management, communication, and marketing. And I must have “vision for the future”—so that we can be pioneers and shape our profession.

What would I be if I weren’t this? A landscape architect, or a furniture maker… because I love antique furniture and period settings; I’m drawn to the past, to history… and to woody plants—I really know my way around them. My favorites: maple trees and the like. And vintage cars. 🙂 And electric cars. But I'm interested in macroeconomics, the energy industry, the environment and nature (conservation), and nutrition science.

My youngest daughter, who is a teenager, lives in Budapest with her mother, so I travel there often; I live in a village near Szekszárd.

Dr. Tamás Erdélyi

Dental Prosthetics, Tooth Preservation

My name is Dr. Tamás Erdélyi. I graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Pécs in 2001 with a summa cum laude distinction. I hold board certification in restorative dentistry and prosthodontics. I have been working at the Halász Clinic since receiving my degree. My hobbies are my family and my dogs.

Dr. Máté Szabó

root canal treatment, tooth preservation, dental restorations

My name is Dr. Máté Szabó; I earned my degree “cum laude” in Szeged in 2020.
In my work, my top priority is to ensure that my patients receive the highest possible standard of care, both professionally and personally. I consider it my professional mission to save teeth, and if that is no longer possible, to replace them using the most advanced methods available.
My primary areas of interest are pain-free root canal treatment and biomimetic dentistry, in which I restore lost tooth structure using materials with properties similar to those of natural teeth, which allows restorations created in this way to have a longer-than-average lifespan.
I spend part of my free time pursuing my passion for music; I've been actively playing the guitar since I was a teenager.

Dental Hygienists

Andrea Szilágyi Kocsmárné

I earned my dental hygienist certification in 2004, and I strive to perform my work with the utmost care.

My main responsibilities include: professional tartar removal, teeth whitening, and helping patients establish proper oral hygiene, which is the first step in every treatment provided at the clinic.

My goal is patient satisfaction, and I strive to perform my work conscientiously and to the best of my ability. Together with my colleagues at our clinic, we strive to create a calm, welcoming atmosphere.

Kinga Matus

I’ve been working at the clinic since 2008; I started as a dental assistant. I enjoyed being the dentist’s right-hand person, anticipating his thoughts and requests without him having to say a word. I considered it important to build a relationship of trust with patients, because they often feel more comfortable opening up to assistants and asking questions about their treatment.

In 2012, I completed my training as a clinical dental hygienist, which gave me greater independence in my work. Building a relationship of trust has become even more important, because I’m often the first person our patients meet. In these situations, I try to ease their tension and anxiety with kindness, a smile, and sometimes a little humor.

Helpers

Kata Halász

patient coordinator

With my degree in special education, I have always been driven by a desire to help and by good intentions.

I try to ease the fears and anxiety of patients arriving at the clinic—whether upon arrival or while they’re waiting—with a casual conversation or a smile.

I try to build a relaxed, friendly relationship with my patients. I know the names of almost all of our patients, and I can often recognize them just by their voices over the phone.

As a receptionist, I believe it is important to be open-minded and have a positive attitude toward both patients and my colleagues.

My favorite pastime is any kind of sports-related activity, whether it's hiking, biking, running, skiing, ice skating, or working out at the gym.

Erika Lengyel

dental hygienist, dental assistant

My interest in healthcare began when I was a child.

After finishing school, I worked as a nurse in the Cardiology Department for 10 years, which gave me a very solid professional foundation.

After that, I joined the Halász Clinic as a dental assistant. During my years there, I continued my education, attended continuing education courses, and earned my dental hygienist certification.

In my work, I always strive for precision and accuracy. Thanks to my cheerful and empathetic nature, I try to build good relationships with my patients during treatments. I believe that my constant cheerfulness and optimism help ease patients’ initial anxiety, allowing me to create a truly warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Zsanett Dávodi

dental hygienist, dental assistant

I have several different degrees, but dentistry is the field that really captured my interest.

I earned my dental assistant certification in 2014, followed by my certification as a clinical dental hygienist in 2015. I have been a member of the team since 2017.

As both an assistant and a receptionist, I consider good communication and empathetic care to be of the utmost importance, as this helps create a more pleasant atmosphere for our treatments.

Éva Lengyel

Senior Dental Assistant, Dental Hygienist

My parents chose a career in healthcare for me when I was 14 years old. I worked in public health for 12 years. Since 2003, I have been working at the Halász Clinic, alongside Dr. Halász from the very beginning. In the meantime, I also earned a degree in dental hygiene, which allows me to contribute even more to our team. I’m fortunate to be able to continuously learn and expand my knowledge. The greatest reward for me is when a patient comes to us with worries and fears and leaves at the end of treatment feeling cheerful, full of self-confidence, and with a big smile.

Adél Tóth

certified dental hygienist

Even when I was in high school, I knew that I wanted to work in the healthcare field later on.
I've participated in numerous first-aid competitions, so there was no question that I should choose a career in the helping professions.

I earned my degree as a dental hygienist through a newly launched program at the University of Szeged.
I joined the Halász Clinic in 2021, which gave me the opportunity to learn the practical aspects of the profession from the best.
From the very beginning, I've spent a lot of time assisting in the operating room, so I've been able to gain insight into the world of implant surgery, which is very interesting.

I wrote my thesis on dental anxiety, so I believe it is important for our patients to receive their treatment in a calm environment.

Eszter Berki-Szigethi

dental hygienist, dental assistant

I switched from the hospitality industry to dentistry in 2009. Since then, I have been working as a clinical dental hygienist and assistant.

I consider myself a cheerful, humorous person, so my doctor, my colleagues, and I are able to work together easily and energetically. We’re like a little family, which is why our patients find themselves in an atmosphere where they can relax while waiting for their treatment.

Ágnes Ricza

dental hygienist, dental assistant

I joined the clinic’s team in September 2006, and I have been working there as a dental assistant ever since. To expand my professional knowledge, I earned my certification as a clinical dental hygienist in 2020.

It is important to me to work with precision and accuracy and to effectively assist the doctor in their work.

I am empathetic, communicative, and precise. I believe that empathy, a little kindness, and a smile can create a pleasant and stress-free atmosphere for the patient.

Bettina Bogdán

department assistant

My name is Bettina Bogdán. In 2022, I successfully completed my training as a dental assistant through an evening program while working full-time. I didn’t feel completely fulfilled in the world of hospitality management and restaurant work, so I was searching for my purpose.

I wanted to work in a field where I could help others in some way. Encouraged by a childhood friend, I decided to pursue a career in healthcare, which marked a major turning point in my life. I love my job, where I can contribute to patient satisfaction. In addition, I want to continue growing professionally; I’m interested in all areas of dentistry, so I feel like I’ve found the perfect place.

Among my interests, I’d mention art, gastronomy, and cars. I caught the car bug from my partner. I love to travel and relax in nature.

Dental Technicians

Gábor Borbély

laboratory supervisor

Throughout my life, I've always loved creative challenges.

I believe in solutions that combine state-of-the-art technology with artistic excellence. By working closely with our patients, thinking through their needs, and listening to their requests, we create the perfect dental restoration for them.

The works of art created in this way not only bring satisfaction to our patients; it is also important to me that we produce the highest possible quality and beauty with our own hands.

Ákos Lukács

dental technician

I exercise regularly and participate in long-distance running and triathlon competitions.

As a multiple Iron Man, I have no trouble tackling lengthy, complicated tasks in my work and creating the most complex, “high-tech” dental restorations for our patients.

The most important thing is that they go home with the most beautiful smiles.

Tamás Kovács

dental technician

Function, aesthetics, comfort. A perfect dental prosthesis must meet all three criteria.

My work is characterized by precision, and I always strive to produce the highest possible quality.

I believe that the expertise I have gained over many years will help our patients achieve the perfect smile.

Anyone who practices their profession at a high level and has a clear understanding of the full scope of their work must be able to anticipate virtually every possibility. A patient’s condition, the potential difficulties and pitfalls associated with the chosen course of treatment, and the ways to address them—all of this must be assessed, discussed, and clarified in advance.

That is why, during the consultation, we conduct an extremely thorough CT analysis and then develop a well-thought-out treatment plan that is detailed in every respect, in which we strive to take every possibility into account. If, after treatment has begun, the Treatment Plan needs to be modified, this will only be done with the patient’s consent. This is the key to professional and ethical integrity.
