Cemented MONOBLOCK / TRANSPARENT ZIRCONIA crowns, bridges (Procera, Prettau).
The most common problem with porcelain and zirconia dentures is the ceramic veneer chipping off. Monoblock zirconia cannot chip off. The matt white zirconia base material has been improved and has become more aesthetic and more transparent. The entire denture is therefore made of extremely hard and strong zirconia, without a ceramic veneer.
We offer various implant-prosthodontic solutions for just one, several and all missing teeth. This also makes Halász Clinic a specialist.
SCREW-RETAINED ZIRCONIA DENTURE (Prettau, Procera)
The denture can be screwed directly onto the implant – leaving out the titanium abutment. It is more attractive; the screw-retained denture cannot fall off, and yet it can still be removed without damage; there is no crown margin closure beneath the gum, which might cause the gum to recede.
The 1.5-mm inlet opening of the retaining screw is closed with a white sealant. It requires the highest level of precision – our Procera screw-retained crowns and bridges are made in Sweden, and the ceramic veneer is burnt onto them by our dental technicians.
